The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will report to the Health Care Organization’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In partnership with the CAO, COO, and CMO, you will work to develop operational and mission-based strategy that will serve this community well into the future. You will be part of an excellent team of FQHC and Non-Profit Finance Experts, Healthcare Accountants, and Utilization / Claims Management personnel to ensure that your organization is running smoothly an in compliance with the many local, state, and federal regulations.
Primary among the Chief Financial Officer’s responsibilities is to take oversight of financial report generation and filing with the various regulating bodies. Along with this, you’ll serve as the executive voice of the organization’s financial health, and you’ll play an integral role in forward-looking strategy development.
Among the Healthcare CFO’s other responsibilities will be to supervise the accounting systems for the different functions within the hospital: general ledger, patient financial services, reimbursement, etc. Working with leaders from across the organization, you’ll facilitate the development of departmental budgets which feed into a master budget. The Chief Financial Officer will work with department heads on any modifications, adjustments, or audits that need to occur.
